Environmental care and responsibility are fundamental cornerstones of construction practice for East Coast Pipeline. The requirements of the Client Environmental Management Plan are central to each pipeline construction plan.
All pipeline construction plans are developed using the Client Environmental Plan and the APIA Code Of Environmental Practice. East Coast Pipeline has an Integrated Management System which reflects the requirements outlined in AS/NZS14001 and assists in continually improving ECP's environmental performance while complying with legislative requirements. ECP has an unblemished environmental incident record.
The management and staff of East Coast Pipeline recognise and embrace the environmental, landholder and cultural heritage commitments required in the industry. All ECP personnel are sensitive to the importance of landholder and cultural heritage relationships built by Client organisations.
As such, client organisations can engage ECP to complete project works in delicate political environments without fear of behaviour or attitudes detrimental to hard won relationships.
